Snappo
A screenshot tool for people who like to annotate
Snappo is for the screenshots and short recordings you use to explain something, whether that’s a bug, a handoff, or a bit of documentation. Capture what you need, add arrows, callouts, blur, or redaction, and reopen it later if you want to make a change. Your captures and editable history stay on your Mac, and you don’t need an account to use the app.
Here’s how it works
Use as much or as little annotation as you need. An arrow may be enough, or you can add text, numbered callouts, blur, and redaction. Everything stays together in Snappo, so you can edit the same capture again later.
- Take a screenshot or recording Use a global shortcut to capture a region, a window, or a recording without stopping to set anything up.
- Add the context Mark up the capture with arrows, shapes, text, numbered callouts, blur, pixelation, or solid redaction.
- Come back to it later Every capture stays editable in your local history, so you can reopen it and make a change instead of starting over.
- Copy, export, or share Copy or export the result on your Mac. If you create a link, Snappo publishes the finished version you choose while the editable original stays local.
